Will talk about his both new home of Ch'eng An Fu and his future home of Kuang P'ing Ch'eng in the North China. The place was similar to Oklahoma such as weather; it is very cold in winter and very hot in summer. will is a missionary. He always travel to many place for do mission and accompany with many people. And his wife is a person who help everyone when they were sick. Anywhere in Ch'eng An Fu they will travel until Shanghai. After that they hiring the cart to travel overland. And he always think about the past when he and Katherin get married. he said ,I was sure, I was the happiest and most fortunate man on earth. And they went back to  Ch;eng An Fu.

The Journey Inland 1906


Will, Katherine and Edward took a ship to Shanghai, China. They took thirty-one days in the sea. Every day when Will stays in the boat he learned Chinese language in the morning three hours and three hours in the afternoon. He said, it is very difficult but he loved it. On November third they reached Shanghai. They traveled by boat to anywhere until the city of Yung Nien Ch'enng - City in Pursuit of Happiness - in Shantung province. After three weeks' travel on the canel and they upload in Shantung province and then they hired two-wheeled carts to carry them to Edward home in Ch'eng An Fu - City of Perfect Peace - on the border of Shantung and Honan province. They had a party for celebration.

Will (Will Kiehn) and his wife lived in China for nearly twenty five years. The name of the city is Kuang P'ing Cheng,it means the city of Tranquil Light. In China red color prefer to happiness.  Will Kiehn and his wife get married at the American Consulate in Shanghai and they are wearing Chines clothes. They are really love it.   New, he lives at Glenwood Manor, a home for retired missionaries in Claremont in Southern California. It is so faraway. his age is eighty-one years old. But he still keeps thinking about China the place he lived when he was young and how happy he is. And in his mine, he always remember the Chinese name of the country that he really love "Tsaichien mei-kuo".The meaning is Beautiful country.
